What is a tuck?
A tuck is a fold of fabric stitched down along its length. It is used two ways: to add a raised, textured pattern to the surface, or to control fullness in a neat, deliberate manner. It is mainly a design and construction detail, not a primary shaping tool like a dart.

The main tuck types
